Why Nest Exists

Nest began with a simple question:

What happens when we create enough space for a person to actually come back to themselves?

So much of modern life asks us to live from the neck up : thinking, solving, producing, performing, pushing through. We become very good at functioning while losing touch with what is happening underneath.

The breath changes. The body holds tension. We disconnect from sensation. We keep going.

I began exploring these patterns through Bodywork, Massage, Breathwork, Hospice care and time spent learning from different traditions and places. What stayed with me was how much can shift when someone is given the right conditions to slow down, feel, breathe and be met without having to perform.

Nest grew from that understanding.

It is a space for people who want to explore what is underneath the way they live — to breathe with more ease, release what the body has been holding, and develop a deeper relationship with themselves.

Sometimes that means working one-to-one with someone who feels disconnected from their breath or constantly caught in their head. Sometimes it means creating a shared space where a group can slow down, reconnect and experience something together.

My role is not to fix you or tell you who to be.

It is to create the conditions for you to stop pushing for a moment and to give your body and nervous system enough space to do some of the work themselves.

You can work with me one-to-one through Breathwork, either online or in person, where we can slow down and explore what is happening in your body and breath at your own pace.

Or, if you’re curious to experience this work alongside others, explore the upcoming Nest gatherings.
